My First Hoops Top 10

I am going with the same ranking process that I used for football. I will base my rankings entirely on results from this season, and I will try to avoid allowing perceived strengths and weaknesses of teams compromise my rankings. A win over a quality opponent is a win over a quality opponent regardless of what I think of your teams deficiencies.

Since I am only using this year's results where possible, there will be a disproportionate number of highly ranked mid-majors early on due to upset wins in pre-season tournaments. This should work itself out once the marquee teams start playing against each other. Only a handfull of teams have wins of note this year, so I will rank the bottom teams based upon last year's NCAA tournament results. This will give me a starting point for my next week's rankings.
