NFL Draft

Regardless of what the media says, Brady Quinn was the big winner in this past weekend’s NFL draft. Sure, Quinn fell to the twenty-second pick before the Cleveland Browns selected him, but this has put him in a situation rarely faced by the top rookie quarterback prospects. Bad teams with bad offensive lines generally pick the highest picked quarterbacks. The Browns had just selected a left tackle, Joe Thomas, with the third pick in the draft, so Quinn should have a good player protecting his blind side. Furthermore, he gets to play for a team that runs the same offensive system as ND. That is not a bad thing at all.

Brady Quinn Can't Sing

He was one hell of a quarterback for four years at Notre Dame, and he seems like a good guy. However, Brady Quinn proved to the world this afternoon that he cannot sing a lick. His duty was to sing the seventh inning stretch at the Chicago Cubs baseball (I use the term loosely when describing the Cubs) game, and he was loud and off key. Fortunately, he is rarely as bad when quarterbacking a football team, so he should be a great addition for an NFL franchise.
